Principal’s Welcome

Dia duit / daoibh agus céad míle fáilte. Hello and welcome to Bruckless N.S. and to our website. Here you will find helpful information as well as a sense of our values here at Bruckless N.S.

At Bruckless N.S. we strive to put your child at the centre of all that we do in a safe, fun, inclusive, innovative, caring, and nurturing environment. Through assessment and concrete evidence, we enable your child to access all areas of the curriculum in a meaningful manner through a multitude of teaching methods, resources, and active fun learning.

We aim to provide equality of opportunity in our school through an inclusive child-centred approach instilling independence, self-confidence, self-motivation, and self-discipline whilst learning transferable life-long skills in a respectful environment.

Respect is at the heart of our school culture ensuring all children develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our Catholic ethos promotes love and respect regardless of beliefs and all children are welcome at Bruckless N.S.

Ensuring Bruckless N.S. remains at the heart of our community, we forge many links with local societies, groups, clubs, facilities, businesses and individuals and we value the inclusion of parents, families, neighbours, and the community in our school.

Our amazing coastal location allows us to explore the wonderful outdoors, nature, History and Geography in our locality and compliments our thematic approach to education.

All voices are heard and listened to in Bruckless N.S. through our active Parents Association and Student Council (Comhairle na nDaltaí). We hope that you too can join us.

If you have any further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Is mise le meas,

Mr. Lorcan O’Toole.
